My name is Genevieve. I am the protector.
I am here to embody feminine power and use it to change lives and institutions. I am amassing wisdom and weaving my web, so I’m positioned to articulate the complexity of this world and connect people to themselves, each other, and the Divine.
I am powerful. I am feminine. I am resilient. I am magnetic. I am home.

This is my personal purpose statement followed by my core essences. They are an articulation of my purpose in this life and the central attributes of who I am. This summary of my sacred center was developed during a year of weekly life coaching, and it has been an anchor and a guide for me since it’s creation.
During that span of life coaching, I also discovered a deep pleasure in freestyle dancing. However, I have often found myself awkwardly not knowing how to move my feet. My coach has been a lifelong dancer so I asked if she would be willing to teach me in a lesson. We met for the first session with no idea what would unfold. As we began some guided exercises, we realized we could choreograph an embodiment of my core essences and personal purpose statement. Over the course of four weeks, we crafted an expression of those words in dance and movement.
For the final session, two of my dear friends joined to witness and mirror the embodiment of my sacred center. We warmed up with intuitive and playful movement, then they lovingly watched my performance. They saw me with their hearts and their eyes, they cheered me on and celebrated me. They held space for me to dance with an audience and were witness to the expression of my most authentic self in words and movement. Then they allowed me to teach them. My dance flowed through their bodies and they repeated back my words.
My personal purpose statement and core essences were borne of deep work in the spiritual realm and the intellectual exercise of articulation. This work of choreographing and creating an embodiment of the purpose and essences brought that truth firmly into the physical world. My sacred center became a tangible, visible, anchored thing as it flowed through my body and was observed by others.
Four soul sisters gathered. A dream was spoken and brought into reality. Repeated call and response became a chant that resonated in the physical world as well as the spiritual. We felt the potent, ancient power of gathering together to create and to raise each other up. We made magic.
What started out as a whim to take a dance lesson became a transformative act of communal creation. I was given the extraordinary opportunity to craft something entirely new in collaboration with my mentor. I was reminded to bring my body into spiritual practice. I was given a glimpse into the primal power of women gathered together with love and intention.
May this be just the beginning of what we create and amplify together. Blessed be!
